Project  DENDIA

Impact of the dengue virus NS1 protein on the functionality of vascular endothelium in diabetic conditions

This project aims to study the impact of the dengue viral NS1 protein, mainly produced by the liver, on the functionality of endothelial cells subjected to factors present in the blood of diabetic individuals.

This project, developed between the two UMRs, allowed us to study the role of DENV-2 Run18 NS1 in the disruption of vascular endothelium in diabetic individuals.
