PIMIT at the International conference on Drosophila research

Dr. Chaker EL KALAMOUNI and Dr. Dani OSMAN took part in the 66th Annual International Drosophila Research Conference, organised by the Genetics Society of America, held in San Diego, USA, from March 19 to 23, 2025.

They presented recent findings from PIMIT on the modeling of Zika virus infection in the Drosophila midgut.

This conference is the leading international event for the Drosophila research community. Each year, it features over 1,000 presentations covering a wide range of topics, including genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, development, immunology, physiology, neuroscience, evolution, and more.
