Launch of the "OMEGA" project

The UMR PIMIT has recently launched a research project aimed at better understanding the adaptation of bats to urban environments. Through a collaboration with GIP Ecocité, researchers will study the ecological plasticity of Reunion free-tailed bats, an endemic species of Reunion Island, in the context of urban development.
