The ANRS | Emerging Infectious Diseases (ANRS MIE) is launching its first call for applications for Junior Chairs. Priority will be given to projects falling under Pillar 2 of the PEPR MIE: Organizing and developing new treatments, vaccines, and other prevention tools, diagnostics, and surveillance tools for emerging infectious diseases.
Applicants wishing to join the UMR PIMIT will develop research that aligns with one or more of our thematic areas:
-- Exposure and sensitivity of human populations to infectious agents
-- Eco-epidemiology of infectious agents in island ecosystems
-- Infectious mechanisms and control of emerging zoonoses
The Junior Chairs call aims to stimulate innovation and scientific development through research proposals. It offers young scientists Junior Chairs to develop groundbreaking research within the scope of the PEPR MIE. Each project may receive funding of up to €1 million over a 48-month period.
